Christopher Yoo is the John H. Chestnut Professor of Law, Communication, and Computer & Information Science at University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School. As one of the most cited scholars in administrative and regulatory law as well as intellectual property, Christopher has authored five books and over 100 scholarly works. His major research projects include investigating innovative ways to connect more people to the Internet; comparing antitrust law in China, Europe, and the U.S.; analyzing the technical determinants of optimal interoperability; promoting privacy and security for autonomous vehicles, medical devices, and the Internet’s routing architecture; and studying the regulation of Internet platforms.
오대석 판사는 서울대학교 경영대학을 졸업하고 서울대학교 대학원에서 민사소송 전공으로 석사과정을 수료한 후 Harvard Law School에서 LL.M.를 취득한 법조인입니다. 사법시험 37회 최연소 합격, 사법연수원 38기 수료 후 서울중앙지방법원, 서울서부지방법원, 수원지방법원, 부산고등법원을 비롯한 각급 법원에서 풍부한 사법 경험을 쌓았습니다. 대법원 재판연구관을 역임한 후 현재 창원지방법원 부장판사로 재직 중이며, 동시에 대법원 인공지능위원회 실무지원단 팀장으로도 활동하고 있습니다. 또한 민사판례연구회와 민사소송법연구회 회원으로 활동하며 법학 연구와 실무에 매진하고 있습니다.
Daryl Lim 교수는 펜실베니아주립대학교 디킨슨 로스쿨(Penn State Dickinson Law)에 재직 중입니다. Professor Dongjin Lee is a Professor in the School of Law at Seoul National University, specializing in civil law, data law, and health law. He currently serves as a member of the Civil Code Amendment Committee under the Ministry of Justice, and as the government delegate to UNCITRAL Working Group IV, among others. Also, he provides expert consultation to multiple government agencies, corporations, and the Supreme Court.
Geun Lee (Ph.D. in Political Science, University of Wisconsin–Madison) is a Professor at the Graduate School of International Studies (GSIS), Seoul National University. Geun has over two decades of experiences in international relations and foreign policy, combining academic research with high-level policy advising. He previously served as a Policy Specialist for the National Security Council (NSC) and President of the Korea Institute for Future Strategies, and held visiting professorships at Kyushu University, GRIPS in Tokyo, Kobe University and Keio University. At Seoul National University, he has served as Director of the Institute of International Affairs, Associate Dean of GSIS, and Vice President for International Affairs. From 2019 to 2022, he was President of the Korea Foundation (KF), coordinating Korea’s public diplomacy around the world. He has also served as Advisory Professor to the United Nations Association of Korea and Chair of the Korean Council of the World Economic Forum (Davos Forum). His research areas include international political economy, soft power, technology & global order, and public diplomacy.
Hyundeuk Cheon is a philosopher of science interested in both the philosophical reflection on scientific advancement and the expansion of philosophical inquiry grounded in reflective scientific achievements. Hyundeuk’s recent research focuses on the philosophical and ethical issues surrounding artificial intelligence, including emotion, understanding, explainability, and transparency in AI. He received his B.S. in Physics from Seoul National University and earned his M.A. and Ph.D. in Philosophy of Science from the same institution. After serving at the Ewha Institute for the Humanities, he joined the Department of Philosophy at Seoul National University in 2018 and moved to the newly established Department of Science Studies in 2022. He has been a research fellow at the SNU Institute for Cognitive Science, a visiting fellow at the Center for Philosophy of Science at the University of Pittsburgh, and a visiting researcher at the London School of Economics. In 2020, Hyundeuk was named an SNU Junior Fellow for Creative Research and received the 5th Amgok Academic Award. He currently serves as the Director of the Center for Ethical, Legal, and Social Issues in AI (ELSI) at SNU and as the editor of The Korean Journal for the Philosophy of Science (KJPS), published by the Korean Society for the Philosophy of Science.

Kyoungjin Choi is a Professor of Law and Director of the Center for AI·Data and Policy at Gachon University. As a representative expert with extensive academic research and practical experience in artificial intelligence, data, and privacy, he served as Chairman of the Drafting Committee for the Personal Information Protection Act, which was fully revised in 2023, and as President of the Personal Information Protection Law Association (PIPLA). His recent publications are Artificial Intelligence Law(2024), Personal Information Protection Law(2024), and 100 Selections of Personal Data Precedents(2022).
Masako Wakui 교수는 교토대학교 법학대학원 교수이자, 영국 뉴캐슬대학교 방문학자입니다. 이전에는 일본 오사카시립대학교와 릿쿄대학교에서 교수로 재직한 바 있습니다. Masako Wakui is a Professor at the Graduate School of Law, Kyoto University, and a visiting scholar at Newcastle University, UK. Masako has previously taught at Osaka City University and Rikkyo University. Her fields are competition law and policy, and she has published books and articles on these subjects. She has served as a chief researcher (2016-18) and visiting researcher (2018-present) for the Japan Fair Trade Commission (JFTC) Competition Policy Research Centre, as a member of the Monitoring Meeting of Improving Transparency and Fairness of Digital Platforms, Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (2023-present), and various other advisory and study groups at the JFTC and other administrative bodies. She is also a board member of the Japan Association of Economic Law and the co-head of the Asian Chapter of the Academic Society for Competition Law.
Pil-Ho Kim is a distinguished AI expert and an Advisor at POSCO DX, with a proven track record of driving digital transformation in the manufacturing industry. Pil-Ho has led AI initiatives at top Korean conglomerates, including roles as Head of the AI Team at Samsung Display, Head of the Manufacturing AI Center at POSCO Holdings, and Head of AI at POSCO DX. His industry leadership is backed by his experience as a global leader in machine learning at AWS, overseeing the APAC region, and 15 years of foundational research on the formalization of human intelligence. Pil-Ho earned his Ph.D. in ECE from Georgia Tech and was honored as an EU Marie Curie Fellow.

Shao-Man Lee is an Assistant Professor at the Miin Wu School of Computing at National Cheng Kung University (NCKU), with a joint appointment in the Department of Psychology. Shao-Man’s research focuses on developing culturally fair legal AI systems, computational approaches to legal analysis, and governance frameworks for responsible AI development. Shao-Man serves as Executive Secretary of the International Society of Public Law Taiwan Chapter and as an advisor to the Taiwan Bar Association’s AI Development and Response Committee. She recently led the Ministry of Justice’s Prosecutorial AI Assistance System project. Shao-Man graduated from National Taiwan University College of Law and obtained her LL.M. from Yale Law School and her J.S.D. from the University of California, Berkeley.

Shun-Ling Chen is an Associate Research Professor at Institutum Iurisprudentiae Academia Sinica (IIAS). She also co-directs the Information Law Center at IIAS. Prior to joining IIAS, she taught in the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law. Shun-Ling holds an S.J.D. from Harvard Law School. She has worked closely with online collaboration and civic tech communities. Trained in both Law and Science and technology studies, her research interest include copyright, privacy, free speech, peer production, citizen science, community governance, platform governance, internet governance and data governance.
Soohyung Lee is currently a member of the Monetary Policy Board at the Bank of Korea (BOK), while on leave from Seoul National University. Prior to her appointment at the BOK, she served as a Deputy Director at Korea’s Ministry of Economy and Finance and later earned a Ph.D. in Economics from Stanford University. Following her doctoral studies, Soohyung held a faculty position at the University of Maryland, College Park, was a research fellow at Harvard Business School, and served as an external consultant to the World Bank, the Inter-American Development Bank, and various Korean government agencies. Her research focuses on data-driven analysis of the efficiency of individuals and markets, including the role of artificial intelligence technologies. Her work lies at the intersection of econometrics, labor economics, and market design, and has been cited by renowned international media outlets, including The Wall Street Journal, CNBC, and Nikkei Asia. Stephan Sonnenberg 교수는 미국 코네티컷주 미들타운에 위치한 웨슬리언대학교에서 실무 부교수로 재직 중이며, 인권 부전공(Human Rights Minor) 프로그램 책임자를 맡고 있습니다. Sonnenberg 교수는 올해 6월 미국으로 돌아오기 전까지 서울대학교 법학전문대학원 부교수로 5년간 재직하며 Human Dignity Clinic 및 Difficult Conversations Clinic을 운영하였습니다. 이전에는 하버드와 스탠퍼드 로스쿨에서 가르친 바 있으며, 부탄의 유일한 로스쿨에서도 임상 및 실무 교육 부학장(Associate Dean of Experiential and Clinical Legal Education)으로 활동한 경력이 있습니다. Yong Suk Lee is an Associate Professor of Technology, Economy, and Global Affairs at the Keough School of Global Affairs at the University of Notre Dame. Yong Suk is the founder and director of the Future of Labor Lab and also the Technology Ethics Program Chair at the Institute for Ethics and the Common Good. His research examines technology and labor, focusing on how artificial intelligence and robotics affect labor and inequality, and how society interacts with these new technologies.
